Description:We are currently working with a gorgeous Interior Design House based in beautiful surroundings just outside of Bath who are looking to to strengthen the team with a new Project Coordinator position
Would work well for candidates with a Buying and Merchandising Retail head office background
PURPOSE:
To successfully deliver sophisticated interior design projects from concept to implementation through efficient project management, procurement, client liaison and supplier management.
PERSON DESCRIPTION:
An organised Project Administrator with an eye for detail. Possibly with a background in buying or merchandising, an interest in design is an advantage.
Plenty of initiative as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this role.
TASKS:
Create and manage project budgets in line with clients expectations
Coordinate procurement from quotation through to invoice stage and maintain good relationships with suppliers and contacts throughout the UK and Europe
Create design schedules and specifications in conjunction with the design team
Create and manage delivery schedules and installations Presenting to clients in conjunction with the design team
Improve and develop systems Coordinate and carry out internal office administration
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Excellent project management and business
administration skills
Highly proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail Nimble in responding to changing deliverables in a fast paced environment
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Proficient in SAGE Line 50
Experience of project management in the interior design or homewares industries
